Richland Area Arts Council (RAAC) promotes the visual arts to residents of and visitors to Richland County, Wisconsin and the surrounding area. To that end the council has established the Red Door Gallery for the display and sale of artwork created by over 20 southwestern Wisconsin artists. Its outreach efforts include: the co-sponsorship of a regional high school art exhibit along with the Association of Wisconsin Artists (AWA) and UW- Richland; the co-sponsorship of an annual workshop for Wisconsin artists; and the establishment of a youth initiative art program.
Membership in RAAC costs only $25 for an individual membership or $40 for a family membership annually. These nominal rates provide an essential support of local artists and the continuance of the council’s arts programs in the community. Members receive a coupon for a discount on purchases made in the Red Door Gallery.
