Working with metal, beads, wood and paint, my art is influenced by the natural world, by found objects and by industrial landscapes.  Recycling is very important to me and I use the more interesting found vintage and used items in my art whenever possible.  These elements become important facets of my unique mobiles, collages, assemblages, objets tableau and jewelry.
Almost everything used in my jewelry is recycled and put to this fresh use, from deconstructed vintage jewelry, older chains and found objects.
Therefore, Steampunk was a natural pursuit for my ideas for some of my jewelry.
My art education, including classes at the University of Wisconsin, Edgewood College, MATC and various art workshops and seminars, is ongoing, my outlook is toward the unusual, and my inclinations are eclectic.
