I took a pottery class with my mom while in high school and I’ve done pottery as a hobby ever since. After more than 20 years of dabbling, I am now making pottery as my part-time job while working the full time job of mommy to my wonderful little boy.
I am from North Carolina, which has a rich heritage of pottery making.
My family and I moved to Wisconsin from Rhode Island in 2012. Rhode Island is where my pottery skills improved dramatically under the tutelage of potter Michael Chatterley. While I have made a few “art” pieces, I prefer making functional pottery that does more than look pretty.
